Van Wert City Schools provides a comprehensive and diverse educational experience for students in preschool through 12thgrade. The range of education begins with an emphasis on social-emotional development and purposeful play with preschool students, helping children establish a strong foundation for their learning. The learning experience then culminates with high school opportunities in courses such as pre-engineering, biomedical, and advanced placement options. Greg Blackmore graduated from Van Wert high School in 1982. After school, Greg enlisted in the United States Army and married his wife, Shari Lehrman. Greg served four years as a military Police Officer, doing most of his tour in Europe. After his tour finished, Greg moved back to Van Wert with his wife and worked several years at Fleetwood Motor H
